What does the exosome market actually look like?

Independent quality comparison and pricing benchmarks for biologic products. Suppliers are anonymized. Methodology is published. Data is verifiable. This is what we found.

⚠ This site does not promote, sell, or facilitate the purchase of any product. It publishes market data only. No therapeutic claims. No medical advice. No FDA-approved exosome products exist as of July 2026.

03 — Methodology

Data Sources

Pricing and quality data sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COAs), wholesale price lists, distributor agreements, and direct supplier communications. All documents obtained from active distribution relationships. Suppliers anonymized to protect commercial relationships while maintaining data verifiability.

Cost Normalization

All pricing is normalized to cost per billion exosome particles. This is the only metric that enables cross-supplier comparison, as products vary widely in concentration, volume, and form factor. Raw per-vial pricing is misleading without particle count.

Quality Scoring

Metrics based on MISEV guidelines, ISEV standards, 21 CFR 1271 requirements, USP <71> (sterility) and USP <85> (endotoxin). Independent lab verification weighted higher than in-house testing. CD9/CD63/CD81 marker presence required for full characterization under ISEV guidelines.

Limitations

Sample size: 3 suppliers. Data reflects wholesale pricing at a single point in time (July 2026). Does not include shipping, customs, or cold-chain logistics costs. Quality data limited to documentation provided by suppliers. Historical pricing trends not yet available.

Market References

Patient pricing sourced from published clinic pricing and industry surveys (StemConnect 2026). Research wholesale pricing from published academic procurement data (Zen-Bio 2026). Distributor markup norms from industry benchmarks (Conga, Vendavo, MedPAC).

Updates

This is v0.1.0. Data will be refreshed as new COAs, price lists, and supplier documentation become available. Methodology refinements and additional suppliers planned for future releases. Contact below for submissions or corrections.

04 — What This Is (And Isn't)

This is: An independent attempt to measure what the exosome market actually looks like — what products cost per unit of active ingredient, what quality documentation exists, and how suppliers compare on objective, verifiable metrics. The regenerative medicine industry suffers from severe information asymmetry. This is one small step toward transparency.

This is not: A marketplace. A recommendation engine. Medical advice. An endorsement of any supplier or product. A promotional vehicle. It publishes data. Nothing more.

The premise: A market where one supplier's product costs 87.5× more per unit than another's — and no public source documents this — is a market that needs measurement. We're measuring.
